Lindsay Ross Thomas and Justin Matthew White exchanged marriage vows Saturday, Dec. 31, in The Country Club of Little Rock. The Rev. Lee Denton of Kibler Baptist Church in Alma officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary White Thomas of Little Rock and Dr. Jeanette Shorey and Lindsay McFaddin Thomas, also of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Mary and Lindsay Cotton Thomas of Little Rock and the late Mary and Waldo White of Aurora, Mo.

Parents of the bridegroom are Marilyn White of Bryant and Lowell White of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Letha and Rev. Martin White and the late Lilly Belle and Clyde Ellington, all also of Little Rock.

Music for the New Year's Eve wedding ceremony was by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra String Quartet.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless ivory A-line tulle ballgown embellished with crystal beading. A comb secured her veil, which was edged with crystals, rocailles and bugle beads. She carried a cascade of white miniature calla lilies.

Serving as matron of honor was Hope Dalton of Little Rock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Darah Bennett of Bentonville, Lindsey Davenport of Maumelle, Anna Olive of Alexander, and Jamie Soos of Little Rock. They wore dresses in the style of their choice in shades of silver, gold and champagne and carried bouquets of ivory hydrangeas with leaves tinged with gold and silver.

Chandler White of Bryant served as his father's best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Ray of Alexander, Chris Red of Benton, David Hodge of Little Rock and the father of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was William Douglas of Little Rock.

A reception, also at the club, was held after the ceremony. Guests tables were decorated with mounded arrangements of white hydrangeas and candles. The buffet held a large arrangement of ivory hydrangeas with extensions of white calla lilies.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in apparel studies from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is a certified public accountant at L. Cotton Thomas & Co.

The bridegroom attended Pulaski Technical College and is vice president of operations and market expansion at ServiceMaster Restore.

The couple will reside in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Belize.
