Warren is our pet of the week. He is a 4-year-old mix of schnauzer and westie or terrier and weighs 16 pounds. This affectionate fellow loves people, is calm and likes to sit in a lap for belly rubs. Warren is crate-trained and house-trained. He has completed treatment for heartworms, but he will need a home that is dedicated to keeping him still and calm other than potty breaks for the next few months.

Canine Close-Up

Boo is a 1-year-old Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix that weighs about 10 pounds. He is sweet and cuddly but needs a bit of time to warm up to new people. He loves smaller dogs but is quite frightened of large dogs. He is playful, but he also likes to cuddle.

Mikey is a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix puppy that is 5 to 6 months old. He weighs about 12 pounds and likely will be about 15 pounds when full grown. He loves all people, including children, and loves to play with other dogs. When he's finished playing, he loves to snuggle.

Emmy and JayJay are bonded, 9-month-old Chihuahua sisters. They are sweet once they get to know a person, and they are super little lap girls. They must stay together, no exceptions.

Summer is a 1-year-old Lhasa apso that weighs about 12 pounds. She is a happy and loving girl that loves to play with other similar-sized dogs and then curl up with you after she plays. She is active, so she would love a dog companion.

Jessie is a 2-year-old cream-colored miniature poodle that weighs 11 pounds. She is a sweet girl but is really shy, so she needs a quiet home. She is fine with other dogs and would do best with a similar-sized companion. She walks with a leash and harness to potty. This darling girl will need a bit of patience and someone to help build her confidence with training.

Bella and Lucy are bonded golden doodle sisters that are 3 years old. They are big girls at 75 pounds. They are happy dogs that love everyone and are trained. Sadly, Lucy has heartworms, so we are looking for a local adopter who will keep the sisters together and take Lucy for her treatment, which our group will cover.

Warren and friends can be adopted through Helping Hands for Little Paws. More information is available at (501) 888-2702 and helpinglittlepaws.com.
