Does marijuana really make us a better society?

Does it matter? Lots of legal things don't make us a better society. The question is whether there is justification for keeping marijuana illegal. Fact is, there isn't.

Agree with NoUserName. There is a bigger problem with opioid addiction and that's legal with controls. Pot has been legal in several states and there has not been the problem of opioid addiction. I think this is a socio-con issue that dog whistles to bible thumpers.

I thought the Republicans were that "States Rights" group. Now it seems whatever the voters in those states voted for Sessions is going to bring in the Feds to put a stop to it. Another one of those, "we will tell you one thing get your vote ,then do another".

Republicans want to shrink federal government and return power to the states .... except when they don't.

I'd like Sessions to chase the dragon and then smoke a joint and tell me they're the same thing. This is the kind of reefer madness we're still dealing with in the 21st g'd century!! He's as full of sh*t as a Christmas turkey and probably in the pocket of big pharma.
