Patti Kimbrough was named executive director of the Good Samaritan Clinic in Fort Smith. Kimbrough has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and marketing in Northwest Arkansas. She worked for the Alzheimer’s Association, the University of Arkansas Athletic Department, Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate, the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, West Virginia University School of Nursing and most recently as the director of community relations and development for Ozark Guidance Center.
Katie Hamner joined KHBS/KHOG-TV as assistant news director. She was senior executive producer at WFAA in Dallas for the past two years and worked at KSTP in Minneapolis as senior executive producer and has been a producer, reporter and weekend anchor. Hamner graduated from Penn State University in State College, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in communications and earned her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Carson E. Howle of Springdale is a new junior member of the American Angus Association. The association has headquarters in St. Joseph, Mo. Junior association members can register cattle in the association, participate in programs conducted by the group and take part in shows and other national and regional events.
Ai-Chau Nguyen, a family nurse practitioner, joined Cornerstone Family Medical Clinic at 14 Gothic Ridge Road, Van Buren. Nguyen has more than eight years of health care experience, primarily as a nurse in the intensive care unit of Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. Nguyen received her bachelor’s of science in nursing from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith in 2009 and a master’s of science in nursing from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway in 2016.
James Roundtree joined Washington Regional Medical Center as clinical director of surgical services. He earned a bachelor’s of science in nursing and a master’s of business administration from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Okla., and achieved certification as an operating room nurse. His experience includes surgery leadership roles at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford, Texas, Sparks Health System in Fort Smith, St. John Medical Center in Tulsa and Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Sharon Burton joined the Siloam Springs office of Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette. She worked in the Branson entertainment industry for more than 20 years before starting a career in the medical field in Oklahoma, eventually joining Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville.
Chris Dyer joined the Cobb-Vantress Inc. North American Sales team as director of U.S. sales. He began his career with Arbor Acres in 1985 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in poultry science. He spent seven years in hatchery and production management, moving to domestic sales and technical service for another six years. For the past 20 years, he has held roles in account and sales management with Intervet, Pure Line Genetics and Zoetis.
