Caregivers' support group tackles guilt

Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock offers a support group for caregivers of loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. The group meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month to listen to one another and offer support.

The next meeting will be at noon Thursday in the church library and will feature a "Lunch and Learn" opportunity on the topic of guilt. Newcomers are welcome.

Before the regular monthly support group meeting, participants can take a "brown bag" lunch to the library for the session on feelings of guilt some caregivers experience while caring for a family member or other loved one with dementia or Alzheimer's. The support group meeting will follow from 1-2 p.m.

Information is available online at secondpreslr.org or by calling (501) 227-0000. The church is at 600 Pleasant Valley Drive.
