Woods is accused of shooting McAlton Walker, 39, who was found staggering around Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church around 7 p.m. Friday in Twin Groves, about 20 miles north of Conway. Authorities said Walker went to the church with a gunshot wound in his face. He was later taken to a Conway hospital before being transferred to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.

Walker's condition on Saturday afternoon was unknown, but a spokesman said Walker was able to speak with investigators during the day.

Deputies also found a vehicle in the middle of Pinnacle Springs Road near Twin Groves that they said was stolen and abandoned. A witness told authorities that a man believed to be Woods ran from the vehicle into a wooded area after the vehicle ran out of gas.

Minutes after the discovery of the vehicle, Walker was found at the church about 2 miles away.

Deputies, investigators and Conway Police Department K9 units couldn't find Woods in a search Friday. Saturday afternoon Woods was found along Cargile Lane in Greenbrier between Twin Groves and Conway and arrested without incident, according to a news release.

An investigation is ongoing. The relationship between Woods and the victim was unknown Saturday.

Charges against Woods were pending.
