Rogers High 9, Springdale High 3

McKaden Templeton went 2-for-4 with a triple and drove in three runs to lead the Mounties to a 7A-West Conference win Tuesday night.

Senior right-hander Mason Mitchell picked up the complete-game win, allowing three runs (one earned) on five hits. He struck out four and didn't walk a batter for Rogers (15-11, 8-6 7A-West).

Jeb Sample also drove in two runs, while Luke McFaddent went 2-for-2, drove in a run and scored three runs for the Mounties. Andrew Roach went 2-for-3, scored a run and drove in two for Springdale (12-15, 4-10).

Van Buren 7, Fayetteville 5

A Bulldogs' error broke a 5-5 tie in fourth inning to help Van Buren pull out the home victory.

The Pointers (18-5, 9-5) scored in each of the first five innings. They led 3-1 before Fayetteville (16-13, 11-3) erupted for a four-run third inning that was highlighted by a two-run double by Garrett Williams and RBI singles by Barrett Banister and Quin Rudzinski.

Banister and Hayes Cox each were 2-for-3 and Rudzinski drove in two runs for the Bulldogs, which clinched the 7A-West Conference title with a 10-0 win over Van Buren on Monday.

Jeremiah Douglas and Ethan Rauser each had two hits for the Pointers and freshman Dakota Peters drove in two runs. Sophomore Trevor Johnson picked up the win after pitching a two-hit shutout over the final 4 1/3 innings.

Bentonville High 10, Bentonville West 4

Kyle Knight and Cade Lastovica drove in three runs apiece to lead Bentonville to a series sweep over West and clinch the 7A-West Conference's second seed for next week's Class 7A state tournament.

Knight had a two-run double as part of a four-run third inning that gave the Tigers (16-10, 10-4) the lead for good. Tyler Johnson led off the fifth with a solo home run as Bentonville added three runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth.

Johnson was 3-for-3 with four runs scored, while Lastovica was 3-for-4. Jaron Jenkins had two hits and drove in a run for West (12-14, 2-12), while Jason Gloeckler added two hits.

Springdale Har-Ber 11, Rogers Heritage 4

Kolby Arnold drove in four runs to lead the Wildcats on Tuesday at Arvest Ballpark.

Arnold was 2-for-4 with a double to highlight Har-Ber's eight-hit attack. Lincoln Rassmussen was 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs, and Caleb Grace smacked a two-run home run for the Wildcats (18-9, 9-4).

Blake Adams went 4 2/3 innings and allowed just one hit with eight strikeouts to earn the win.

Reid Renfrow was 1-for-3 with a double for the War Eagles (7-20, 2-11), and Kaleb Gavin drove in two runs.
