The top floor of Central Arkansas Library System's Main Library was the setting for Author! Author! on April 29. The party, held during the four-day Arkansas Literary Festival, brought together festival authors, presenters and fans.
Guests were able to browse and buy the authors' books on the library's first floor before heading up to the event for hors d'oeuvres, libations and mingling with the writers.
The 14th annual festival included more than 70 presenters at various Little Rock venues for a mix of panels, performances and workshops. Presenters included Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award winners, filmmakers, comedians and artists.
Event chairman was Seth Eli Barlow, and coordinator of the festival was Brad Mooy. The festival is a project of CALS. Its mission, according to the festival website, is to encourage the development of a more literate populace.
