Robinson Center's Stella Boyle Smith Grand Terrace was the setting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 29, for the marriage of Mary McCain Morris and Joshua Thomas Cole. The Rev. Canon J. Russell Snapp of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral officiated.

Jayne and Walter Morris Jr. of Helena-West Helena are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Bennette and Walter Morris, also of Helena-West Helena, and Louise and the late James McCain of Nacogdoches, Texas.

The bridegroom is the son of Lynn and Rodney Cole of El Dorado. His grandparents are Annie Mae and Phil Stafford of Camden and Joy and Darrell Cole of El Dorado.

Tall arrangements of pink and white hydrangeas and curly willow decorated the terrace. Music was by a string quartet with violinists Kiril Laskarov and Beth Massa, violist Tatiana Kotcherguina and cellist Casey Buck.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a silk-satin fit-and-flare gown with a long-sleeve Chantilly lace bolero. She carried a bouquet of pink and white peonies.

Maid of honor was Laura Nutt Wells of Little Rock. Serving as bridesmaids were Alyson Cole of El Dorado, sister of the bridegroom; Alex Bennett and Rachel Ball, both of El Dorado; and Elizabeth Morris, Emily Tennyson and Monica Cooper, all also of Little Rock. They wore champagne-colored pleated gowns of silk-shantung and carried bouquets of pink and white hydrangeas, sweetheart roses and peonies.

Serving as best man was the bridegroom's brother, Nicholas Cole of El Dorado. Groomsmen were Seth Bennett of El Dorado; Larkin Wilson of Arlington, Va.; David Wells of Little Rock; Jake Rankin of Fayetteville; Wilson Deming of Birmingham, Ala.; and Spencer Ferebee of Plano, Texas. Guests were seated by Trey Morris of Little Rock, Evan McKinnon of El Dorado, Colt Wright of Fayetteville and Kory Loop of Russellville.

After the ceremony, a reception was held in the Robinson Center William Grant Still Grand Ballroom. Tables covered in ivory linens were centered with large arrangements of curly willow, hydrangeas, sweetheart roses and peonies. Music was by The Rockets.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in health education from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. He is employed with Murphy USA.

The couple will reside in El Dorado.
