A routine inspection of the U.S. 64 bridge over the Arkansas River between Fort Smith and Van Buren will require a lane closure today and Thursday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The eastbound lane on the bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days. Traffic will be controlled using warning signs and traffic cones, the department said.
