National Memorial Day Concert

Actors Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) and Laurence Fishburne (black-ish) will serve as hosts of the 28th annual edition of PBS' National Memorial Day Concert. It airs at 7 and 9 p.m. today on AETN.

The Washington concert is part of a night of remembrance dedicated to the men and women in uniform, their families and those who have given their lives for our country. It will be broadcast from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, streamed on Facebook Live and on pbs.org/national-memorial-day-concert.

Participants include the Army Herald Trumpets, the Army Chorus, the Navy Band Sea Chanters, the Air Force Singing Sergeants, the Armed Forces Color Guard and Service Color Teams. Performers include Vanessa Williams, country singer Scotty McCreery, actor John Ortiz, actor Christopher Jackson, actress Ana Ortiz and the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jack Everly. Actress Auli'i Cravalho (Moana) will perform the "Star-Spangled Banner."

Actor Gary Sinise (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders), who formerly served as co-host of the concert, will present a 75th anniversary salute to the Doolittle Raiders, the aviators who helped change the course of World War II in the Pacific.
