SPRINGDALE -- The public is invited to Southwest Junior High School to help celebrate veterans at its annual Veterans Day assembly.
The event is scheduled for 8:45 to 10:20 a.m. Monday. Southwest Junior High School is located at 1807 Princeton Ave.
The program line-up includes speeches by veterans, performances by the school's band and choir, and "letters from the heart" read by students. Veterans will be invited to attend a brunch in their honor after the assembly.
