TEXARKANA -- Three women have been arrested in connection with a shooting and aggravated robbery at a home in Genoa on Thursday.
Miller County sheriff's deputies arrested Kiana Keshaun Montgomery, 21; Shaynesha Martin, 19; and Ke' Erica Turner, 20, on one count each of aggravated robbery.
The women are being held at the Miller County jail.
The sheriff's office is awaiting positive identification from the state Crime Laboratory of a fourth person, a male, who authorities said was shot during the robbery and died later in a local hospital.
The shooting occurred about 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the home, at Arkansas 196 and County Road 290, when homeowner Buddy Cates, 81, shot the male suspect, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
