OBU Percussion Ensemble Concert

ARKADELPHIA — The Ouachita Baptist University Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Ryan Lewis, will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth Recital Hall at OBU. The ensemble will perform pieces that have been written for percussion ensemble. The percussionists will play a variety of instruments, including timpani, tom-toms, cymbals, marimba, vibraphone, glockenspiel, Latin cajon, Afro-Cuban bongos, congas and the lion’s roar. Holiday Lights

HOT SPRINGS — The 15th annual Holiday Lights event will begin at 3 p.m. daily through New Year’s Eve, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas days, at Garvan Woodland Gardens. The event will feature ice tunnels, a fully animated James the Train, a miniature Train Garden, a free hot-chocolate tent and 4 acres of holiday lights. BRYANT/BENTON — Now through December, the Bryant and Benton school bus drivers will team up to start an annual Saline County Stuff the Bus Christmas event for the children of Saline County. Ageless Bikers Club

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Ageless Bikers Club has 10 different bike rides that are 16 to 35 miles long. The rides are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays on quiet paved country roads (one ride has up to 3 miles of gravel). No one is left behind, and the group stops often to regroup and socialize. Merry Mixers Dance Club
