Authorities say an argument ended with gunfire in Arkansas' capital city Monday night.

According to a report from Little Rock police, 20-year-old Keanu Brown was arguing with another person at an address in the 10 block of Rolling Lane, which is near the intersection of Gum Springs Road and Mabelvale Pike. The other person, whom a witness later identified as “Terry,” pulled out a black revolver and fired shortly before 6 p.m.

A 57-year-old woman who was talking on her phone during the dispute told officers that she ducked inside her vehicle when she saw the gun and heard four to five gunshots.

After she got out, she said, the shooter pulled up in a white Cadillac and apologized before driving away, according to the report.

Brown, who was reportedly wanted on a probation revocation warrant, was arrested Monday night in his front yard and taken to Pulaski County jail. After officers found a pipe in his pants pocket, he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

On Tuesday, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with an additional suspended sentence of 180 days, records show.

Police said they have been unable to locate the shooter, who was listed as a black male who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall. Witnesses said he was wearing a blue-and-white shirt at the time of the argument.
