A UPS employee tried to steal an iPhone 8 from a customer packaging center late Wednesday near Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, police say.

Torin Harris, 18, of Little Rock was arrested around 11:45 p.m. on a misdemeanor charge of theft of property, according to a report.

Police say Harris attempted to leave the building at 5501 Fourche Dam Pike with the cellphone and was stopped by security.

A spokesman for UPS said in an emailed statement that Harris was no longer employed by the company.

Harris’ name did not appear in an online inmate roster for the Pulaski County jail on Thursday morning. He has a court appearance set for Oct. 19.
