11:30 a.m. UPDATE

Two lanes that had been blocked by a crash on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock have reopened.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation said shortly before 11:30 a.m. that the middle and outside lanes of the westbound highway east of Interstate 430 had been cleared.

The crash involved at least two vehicles, and it backed up traffic in the area for about two hours.

It wasn't clear what caused the wreck, or whether anyone was hurt.

9:39 a.m. UPDATE

A wreck on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock is causing delays Thursday morning.

The collision happened in the westbound lanes around 9:30 a.m. near the 148 mile marker, which is east of Interstate 430.

The Arkansas Online live traffic map showed stalled conditions in the area.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation said the middle and outside lanes were closed.

Details on what happened in the crash weren't immediately clear, though an ambulance was on the scene.
