HAMBURG -- Star City (2-4, 1-2 8-4A) took a 28-7 lead into halftime and eked out a victory after a second-half rally by Hamburg (3-3, 2-1) fell short.
Sam Reed, Alek Taylor and Chance Johnson had first-half scoring runs for the Bulldogs, and Hunter Avery added a touchdown catch.
