The Pillsbury Bake-Off is back.
The 48th bake-off will be held in partnership with the Food Network and Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman.
The grand prize winner will receive a kitchen makeover from GE Appliances, $50,000 in cash, and appear on an episode of The Kitchen, as well as in Food Network Magazine. Three winners will be named in each category. The grand prize winner will be selected from among the category winners. The retail value of the grand prize package is $92,000 (a significant reduction from the $1 million prize in previous years).
Recipes must be submitted online. Categories are Cozy Breakfasts, Appetizers for Any Party, Dinners with Heart and No-Fuss Desserts. Recipes are limited to no more than eight ingredients. Salt, pepper, water, cooking spray or flour for dusting do not count toward the total. Recipes must include at least one of the following Pillsbury products: refrigerated biscuits, crescent rolls, bread or pizza dough, sweet rolls or cookie dough.
