PREP VOLLEYBALL

Rogers High 3, Fort Smith Southside 1

The Lady Mounties celebrated senior night and tuned up for next week's Class 7A state tournament with a hard-fought 20-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-21 win over Fort Smith Southside, another state tournament team, in the regular-season finale Thursday.

Hannah Martin led Rogers (14-19) with nine kills and six blocks, while Kassidy Wall chipped in a team-high 10 kills and Anna Randels had a team-best 23 digs. Alex Parish also contributed five blocks and Alexa Alvarron added 12 digs for the Lady Mouties, who will be the No. 4 seed out the 7A-West and face Fort Smith Northside at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the state tournament at Conway.

Emily Bass led Southside (23-11) with a match-high 16 kills and 21 digs. Middle blocker Hannah Holland added 14 kills, six aces and two blocks.

Siloam Springs 3, Russellville 0

Siloam Springs' volleyball team now has its road in this week's Class 6A State Tournament.

The Lady Panthers swept Russellville for the third time this season, 25-16, 31-29, 25-15, on Thursday night in the third-place match of the 6A-West Conference Tournament inside Panther Activity Center.

With the win, the Lady Panthers (15-15) will be the West No. 3 seed and play at 8 p.m. Tuesday against East No. 6 West Memphis in the opening round of the Class 6A State Tournament, which will be held Tuesday through Thursday in Greenwood.

Ellie Lampton led the Lady Panthers with 15 kills and nine digs, while Shaylon Sharp had 12 kills and six digs. Chloe Price finished with 17 digs and 36 assists and Madison Hall had 10 digs.

Hannah Jones led Russellville (10-17) with seven kills, while Olivia Alford had five kills and Kate Lane 19 digs. The Lady Cyclones will be the No. 4 seed out of the West and play in the opening game of the state tournament at 2 p.m. Tuesday against Searcy.
