A west Little Rock veterinary clinic was broken into Thursday evening by a burglar who made off with cash and business checks, police said.
About 7 p.m., officers responded to a burglary at Parkway Animal Hospital at 104 Markham Park Drive, which is near the intersection of West Markham Street and Bowman Road, according to a report.
A window on the building's south side had been broken using a rock, the report stated. An employee told police that an unspecified amount of cash and business checks were missing.
Later, employees from the clinic reportedly told police someone had tried to cash the checks in North Little Rock.
Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
