A 35-year-old Houston man was shot in the foot and another man was grazed by a bullet in gunfire that occurred early Sunday near a taco truck in Little Rock, police say.

Little Rock Police Department officer Joshua Hardin was working off-duty at Oasis Cantina & Sports Bar in the 7100 block of Geyer Springs Road when he heard about four gunshots around 2:45 a.m., according to a police report.

The shots sounded like they came from the area of a taco truck parked on the lot, the report said, noting one witness outside indicated they came from the mobile business. Four people were detained initially, but a different witness said the shots had not come from someone inside the truck but from "an older thin Hispanic male" who shot at the taco truck, according to the report.

The second witness said the gunman then got in a gray Chevrolet Impala and fled north from the area.

Jose Lopez Gonzalez, who was was hit in the foot, was taken to UAMS Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of a wound not considered life-threatening.

Another man, Galdino Bautista Hernandez, 33, of Little Rock, was grazed in the right hand by a bullet, but he refused medical treatment, the report noted.

No arrests were made, and the report didn't detail a possible motive in the shooting.

Why is there a taco tuck open in a parking lot on Geyer Springs at 2:45 AM?
