Jamille Ja'Net Rogers and Korey Tremaine Thomas were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, in Saint Mark Baptist Church. The Rev. Earnest Thomas officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gary Rogers and the late Jeanette Rogers of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Leola Richardson of Tuckerman and the late Judge Harris of Kansas City, Kan., and the late Johnnie May and Odell Rogers of Sweet Home.

Delores and Fred Thomas of Shreveport are the parents of the bridegroom. His grandparents are Harry Jackson, the late Lily B. Thomas, the late A.P. Blackshire and the late Mary Williams, all of Shreveport.

The chancel was lighted with hanging crystal chandeliers and candles in glass votive holders set on clear columns. Music was by Rodney Cummings and vocalists Darius Nelson, Daria Nelson and Vesta Blanks.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a layered A-line chiffon gown embellished with beads and crystals. She carried a bouquet of silk roses and crystal brooches.

Serving as maid of honor was Sakennah Farisa Rose of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Vantrice Rogers and Vamesha Rogers, nieces of the bride, and Michaela Thomas and Taylor Thomas, nieces of the bridegroom, all of Little Rock. They wore black cocktail dresses accented with sequins and roses on the bodice and carried blue kissing balls with rhinestone wristlets. Flower girl was Khole Rose and ring bearer was Caiden Walker, both of Little Rock.

Best man was Kodis Poole of Shreveport. Groomsmen were Vincent Rogers and Keith Rogers, both of Little Rock and brothers of the bride, and Michael Thomas of Little Rock and Kenyon Thomas of Shreveport, brothers of the bridegroom. Guests were seated by Samuel Leonard and Demetrius Smith, both of Little Rock.

A reception at the GSA Community Center followed the ceremony. Guest tables were centered with white kissing balls and multi-height candles in clear holders.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in library media and information technology from the University of Central Arkansas. She is a media specialist for Conway Public Schools and director of marketing for Sandstone Real Estate Group.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Northwestern State University and is a pharmacy technician at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will live in Conway.
