Senior facility coming to Fayetteville

Springhouse Village, a new senior living facility, will open at 3434 Crossover Road in Fayetteville early next year.

The single-story community will include various styles of 67 assisted living and 32 memory care apartments. The assisted living community will feature one- and two-bedroom apartments.

The Independent Living Villa will be located adjacent to the assisted living community. Its development is in the final stages of planning before constructions begins. These 34 ground-level villas will be leased homes for seniors 55 and up. The villas will be two-bedroom, two-bath floor plans with one- and two-car garages.

The housing facility is expected to create 75 jobs once completed.

Barber Shop opening in Bentonville

Hudson / Hawk Barber & Shop is opening its ninth shop on the corner of A and Third streets in Bentonville on Wednesday.

The brand was founded by Paul and Thad Forrester and has seven shops in Missouri and one in Kansas.

Hudson / Hawk Barber & Shop, Bentonville will have 10 barber chairs and a lounge area. The shop will feature traditional barber services and a selection of men's grooming products. Walk-ins and online booking will be available at www.hudsonhawkbarbers.com.

Hospital earns accreditation

The American College of Cardiology recognized Siloam Springs Regional Hospital for its treating of patients with chest pain.

The hospital received Chest Pain Center Accreditation based on on-site evaluation of the staff's ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack. Hospitals receiving Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology must take part in a multifaceted clinical process that involves completing a gap analysis; examining variances of care, developing an action plan; an on-site review; and monitoring for sustained success.

Siloam Springs Regional Hospital is a 73-licensed bed facility with 42 private patient rooms. It is accredited by the State of Arkansas Department of Health Services and The Joint Commission. The hospital is an affiliate of Northwest Health.
