— Mike Anderson recaps Arkansas' loss at LSU and previews Tuesday's game against South Carolina:

Mike Anderson

-South Carolina is a team we're very familiar with. Frank Martin really does a terrific job, and he brings back a great player in Chris Silva. He's their go-to guy.

-They shoot a lot of 3s, so that's really going to be something that's on our radar. Their offense is shoot it and go get it.

-I thought we started the 3-game stretch of SEC road games well with a big win at Georgia, but we didn't build on it. Whether you play on the road or at home you've got to bring it.

-"I don't think we're bringing our practice to the game." He's looking for his guys to play a full 40 minutes and a productive night from his bench.

-I still like this team, and I like how this team ... they can play a lot better, but I like the makeup of this team.

-Our rotation defensively has been lacking when it comes to 3-point defense. We have had some guys that have lacked those second and third efforts.

-We're going to get Adrio Bailey back in the rotation. The trust has got to be there, and the guys have got to go out and play well so we don't have guys out there for 32 minutes with the way we like to play.

-I think the defensive issues are more of a mental thing. "You've got to have that want to stop people." Early in the year we had a really good balance, then we started trying to beat people by scoring. He thinks getting more energy and heart on the floor will make a difference.

-Frank Martin and I are really good friends. He was at Kansas State when I was at Missouri. He wants his teams to go out and compete at a high level. Martin's teams mirror him, and Mike is hoping his team will mirror him tomorrow.

-It's an 8-game season now, and it means you've got to leave everything on the floor. I'm hoping the sense of urgency has trickled into their minds.
