2 teams from 1 Arkansas family to compete on 'Family Feud'

Two teams from the same Arkansas family were picked to film an episode of Family Feud in Los Angeles after auditioning in Little Rock last month.

Trey Gosser, 27, told Arkansas Online that his team, dubbed the Turners, is made up of himself, his sister, McKenzie Gosser; and cousins Abby Turner, Molly Anne Sandefur, and Jake Sandefur. They’ll film the show sometime between March and June, he wrote in a Facebook message.

All are from North Little Rock, though Trey Gosser and Turner, the team’s captain, now live in northwest Arkansas, they said.

Another team made up of the Gossers’ parents and their siblings was also selected. A third group of family members also auditioned but have not yet heard back.

Trey Gosser said the family heard about the auditions and thought it might be a fun thing to do.

To be eligible for an audition, prospective players must have five family members related by blood, marriage or legal adoption, according to Family Feud’s guidelines.

An age requirement is not set, though the game show advises that players be at least 15 years or older based on “the nature of the questions.”

The Chambers, a Little Rock family, competed on and won an episode of the show that taped in April and aired in Sepember, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.
