Pet of the week - Maize

Maize is our pet of the week. Maize is a beautiful 2-year-old terrier mix weighing in at 55 pounds. She is a fun, active girl with a big ol' puppy heart. Whether it's running around in the yard playing fetch or playing tug with some of her favorite toys, she loves to not only be entertained but also to put on a hilarious show. She can be a little shy when meeting new human friends on the street, but she really enjoys playing with her puppy pals.

Canine Close-Up

Sampson is a 2-year-old super happy and playful 90-pound Labrador mix. He's a low-key guy that would be fine with one or two older children (around age 10 or older) and he would prefer a home with no dogs or possibly one small dog (around 20 pounds). He does love puppies. Sampson is house-trained, neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative.

Featured Feline

Stormy is an extremely petite tabby girl that was rescued one stormy night with her kittens. She is a shy cat looking for a family willing to give her lots of patience and love as she learns to trust her human housemates. Working with her foster mom, Stormy has quickly decided that she loves to be petted (but not picked up) and loves cuddling on the bed with other kitties. She has a calm, sweet personality and could be an amazing cat companion in a quieter home. She must have a home without dogs, because they terrify her.
