The only way you can improve life in this city is to address the reasons why so many find it necessary to leave for points north, south, east. It shouldn't take a committee of hand-picked individuals selected by another select group called Fifty of the Future. Maybe the "Fifty" in this group's identity symbolizes how many years they have failed to address the growing problem facing this city: stagnant population growth. Could it be blamed on the public's perception of our schools which has led to other social-economic issues? Fix this before you just add more lipstick to this pig. Build a "pathway" into our city, not a path for nightly escape.
