An second Arkansan pleaded guilty in a purse-snatching in which a woman was attacked at a gas station in 2016, the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record reported.

Javonte Jone Jones, 24, was sentenced to eight years in prison for felony robbery, according to the newspaper. A charge of second-degree battery was withdrawn.

His accomplice, 19-year-old Isaiah Keyun Boyce, reportedly pleaded guilty in the case in December and was sentenced to 10 years.

The attack took place Nov. 16, 2016, at the Valero at 4198 Malvern Ave. in Hot Springs, according to a probable cause affidavit cited by the Sentinel-Record.

There, a 48-year-old woman told police she was sitting in her vehicle and had opened her driver's-side door when a male assailant started screaming at her and punched her in the face. He then reportedly grabbed her purse and fled in a vehicle.

Police later identified Jones as the driver and found Boyce's identification in his truck, the newspaper reported. Authorities said they believe a third individual was involved but was never located
