A shooting at an apartment complex in southwest Little Rock left one man dead Thursday evening.
Officers were called around 7:50 p.m. to the Eagle Nest apartment complex for a report of a shooting, according to Lt. Michael Ford, a Police Department spokesman.
Officer arrived at the complex, 33 Falcon Court, and found a man dead inside an apartment, he said. The man had been shot several times.
Ford said it’s still early on in the investigation but reported that the killing “may possibly be drug related.”
He said he did not know if anybody else was in the apartment when authorities arrived. Police did not report any information on a suspect Thursday night.
At the scene, crime scene tape blocked off the entrance to a second-floor apartment.
The slaying is Little Rock’s fourth homicide of 2018.
