An Arkansas man who pleaded guilty to his fourth DWI offense since 2013 was sentenced Tuesday to two years in prison, the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record reported.

Reggie Delronald Craig, 45, of Bearden was sentenced to six years, with four of those suspended. He was also reportedly fined $2,000 and ordered to pay $570 in court costs.

According to a probable cause affidavit cited by the newspaper, Garland County sheriff's Deputy Roy Elliott spotted Craig walking unsteadily while leaving Oaklawn Racing and Gaming, 2705 Central Ave., on Nov. 24, 2016.

After Craig told the deputy that he had "one drink," Elliott advised him to take a taxi home, but he refused, the newspaper reported.

Oaklawn staff later alerted the deputy that Craig drove off in a pickup. After he was pulled over, Craig reportedly failed three field sobriety tests administered by a Hot Springs police officer.

According to the Sentinel-Record, a breathalyzer test showed the driver had a blood alcohol level of 0.81 percent, more than twice the legal limit.

While being booked into the Garland County jail, Craig became "extremely disorderly," called Elliott racial slurs and threatened him, the newspaper reported.

On Thursday, Craig also reportedly received a one-year suspended sentence on a second-degree terroristic threatening charge.

The Sentinel-Record stated that he was convicted of a DWI in Garland County in 2013 and 2014 and in Hot Spring County in 2016.
