Little Rock police said Thursday that two suspects in the slayings of a 24-year-old woman and her two young children now face murder charges in a fourth 2017 homicide.

The department wrote on social media that Michael Collins, 25, and William Alexander, 21, are charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery in the death of 64-year-old Billie Thornton.

Thornton was found dead in his residence at Spring Valley Apartments, 8701 Interstate 30, on July 11, 2017.

Collins and Alexander were already being held at the Pulaski County jail in the killings of Mariah Cunningham and her children, 5-year-old Alayah Fisher and 3-year-old Elijah Fisher, who were discovered dead Dec. 5 in their apartment in the 6600 block of Lancaster Road.

A gag order has been issued in that case. Months after the homicides, key facts of the case remain unknown to the public, including how the three victims were killed and how authorities developed Collins and Alexander as suspects. Little Rock police previously said Alexander and Collins are brothers and that Collins knew Cunningham.
