Jurassic Quest XL: Out of Extinction

HOT SPRINGS — Jurassic Quest XL: Out of Extinction will take place from 3-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and June 24 at the Hot Springs Convention Center, 134 Convention Blvd. The event, an adventure for the whole family to explore the world of dinosaurs, with the help of 50 animatronic dinosaurs, will feature exhibits, tours, theater, science stations, crafts and more. Bryant Library Temporary Closing

BRYANT — The Mable Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant will close June 22 for an interior remodel and is expected to reopen in mid-August. The Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton has added hours from 1-5 p.m. Sundays during June and July. Until it closes, the Bryant branch will check out unlimited books for 90 days, to be returned when the branch reopens. The DVD limit will be 10 per card, and patrons can still borrow e-books. The Benton branch will host Summer Reading programs. Ageless Bikers Club

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Ageless Bikers Club has 10 different bike rides that are 16 to 35 miles long. The rides are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays on quiet paved country roads (one ride has up to 3 miles of gravel). No one is left behind, and the group stops often to regroup and socialize. Several rides are “out and back,” so the beginner can turn back for a shorter ride.
