Authorities: Man robbed at knifepoint in Little Rock's River Market District

A 51-year-old man told police he was robbed in Little Rock's River Market District on Wednesday night by an assailant wearing green scrubs and wielding a knife, a report states.

Officers said they were patrolling the area shortly after 11:30 p.m. when they were flagged down by the victim in a parking lot at 100 River Market Ave.

He told authorities that the robber took his sleeping mat and a pack of cigarettes before walking away. According to the report, the knife wielder was a slim black male with a receding hairline who stands about 6 feet 3 inches tall and was wearing green scrubs.

Officers noted that the 51-year-old "appeared very agitated."

No suspect was named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
