Cobb-Vantress, with headquarters in Siloam Springs, is a broiler breeding company that distributes poultry to more than 120 countries.

Water District places nationally

Beaver Water District placed sixth at the national "Top Ops" competition held June 14 in Las Vegas. The district has won the regional competition and qualified to send a team to nationals each of the past three years.

The competition was held in conjunction with the annual American Water Works Association Convention and Expo. Nikki Holloway, laboratory analyst from Springdale, and plant operators Steven Caudle of Lowell and Gabe Frost of Siloam Springs were on the team. Holloway competed each of the past three years.
