Nana is our pet of the week

Nana, our pet of the week, is an amazing and happy dog that does not realize she is "middle aged." She is an 8-year-old Rottweiler/shepherd mix whose smile says it all. Since her first day at the shelter she has never had a day when she was not happy to see people. She would like a home where she can lie on the floor while being gently scratched behind the ears. A good day for her would be one that starts out with a walk and ends with her being brushed and pampered. She is truly a dog that will quickly become a part of the family.

Roadrunner is true to his name: This high-energy 10-month-old beagle mix can run with the best of them. He loves to run and interact with people as well as other dogs. He needs an active home where his energy will be embraced. As much as he enjoys contact with people, his youth and exuberance make it difficult for young family members to contain his energy.

Lexi is a warm and loving mountain cur that is around 8 years old. Her ability to play with younger pups brings truth to the old statement, "Age is just a number." She loves people and needs a home where she can run when she wants or lounge around and soak up the love of those around her.

Nana and friends can be adopted through Cabot Animal Shelter. More information is available at (501) 843-2021 and cabotar.gov.
