Goodwin Manor was the setting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, for the marriage of Morgan Danielle Sweere and John Hunter Treece. The Rev. Jason Aultman of Antioch Baptist Church in Conway officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Kathi and Daniel Arthur Sweere and the granddaughter of Peggy and David Lutz, all of Conway, and William and the late Verla Sweere of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Kimberly and John Treece of Clinton. He is the grandson of Wilma and William Robinson of Greenbrier and the late Charlene and John William Treece of Clinton.

Tall glass vases with floating candles and flower petals lined the aisle of the outdoor ceremony. A tall wooden cross at an altar was decorated with a sash of calla lilies.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a champagne ballgown of tulle and royal organza with a sweetheart bodice embellished with pearls and stone beading. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

Erica Smith of White Hall was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jonna Fronk of Charlotte, N.C.; Jessica Hardage of Glen Rose; Danielle Welter of Greenbrier; and Hallie Treece of Clinton, sister of the groom. They wore black off-the-shoulder dresses with princess seamed bodices and full skater skirts. They carried bouquets of white calla lilies.

Hayden Treece of Clinton was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Garrett Smith of El Dorado; Ashton Robinson and Matthew Sweere, brother of the bride, both of Conway; and Dustin Medlock of Providence, Kan. Guests were seated by Adam Davidson of Malvern and Jacob McCormack of Conway.

A reception, also at Goodwin Manor, was held after the ceremony. Guest tables held a mix of calla lilies and white flowers in marble and silver vases.

The bride graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Central Arkansas, where she received the President's Medallion for Outstanding Student. She is a medical student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and works part time as a multi-skilled assistant at Conway Regional Emergency Department.
