Rachel Anne Halford and Robert Wayne Fowler exchanged marriage vows at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at An Enchanting Evening in Roland. Debbie Carl of First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Pat Halford of Rogers. She is the granddaughter of Mary Lou and Jack Halford of Little Rock, Ruth and Bob Stickles of Gainsville, Mo., and the late Jerry Burges.
Parents of the groom are the late Janet Sorrels and the late Wayne Fowler. His grandparents are the late Cathryn and Arlie Sorrels and the late Maxine and Robert Fowler.
The ceremony site was decorated with arrangements of purple and green lamb's ear, succulents, ivory roses, purple thistle and cabbage leaves. Music was by guitarist Sloan Connerly.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a lace and tulle gown. The lace V-neck fitted bodice had long sleeves of lace and illusion and a silver beaded grosgrain belt at the waist. The layered tulle skirt was embellished with lace. She carried a bouquet of green lamb's ear, succulents, ivory roses, giant purple chrysanthemum and purple thistle.
Matron of honor was Abby Connerly of Little Rock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Gretchen Wood of Little Rock and Isabella Wood of Fayetteville, cousins of the bride. They wore emerald green Mikado ballgowns with lace straps and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.
Groomsmen were Darren Motley of Russellville, Billy Ehemann of Atkins and Sloan Connerly of Little Rock.
A reception was held after the ceremony, also at An Enchanting Evening. Guest tables were covered with black cloths and accented with burlap and held arrangements of wedding flowers, vintage lanterns and ivory candles.
The bride has a bachelor's degree in studio fine art from the University of Central Arkansas and is a graphic designer at Images NLR and owner and photographer at Rachel Halford Photography.
The groom has a bachelor's degree in geology from Arkansas Tech University and is a project geologist at SCS Engineers.
The couple will reside in Maumelle after a honeymoon in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.
