MEN'S BASKETBALL

UA adds second exhibition game

The University of Arkansas men's basketball team will play an exhibition game against Southwest Baptist University at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 at Walton Arena, according to the Razorbacks' finalized schedule.

It will be the second of two exhibition games against NCAA Division II teams. The first exhibition game will be against Tusculum University at 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

Arkansas opens the regular season against Texas on Nov. 9 at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.

VOLLEYBALL

UALR knocks off Appalachian State

Mya Robinson had 10 kills, 10 digs and 3 blocks for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in a 25-22, 25-23, 25-19 victory over Appalachian State on Friday in Boone, N.C.

Taylor Lindberg dished out 19 assists and Pamela Zuluaga added 18 for the Trojans (11-7, 3-2).

Anderson keys ATU victory

Allie Anderson had 13 kills to lead Arkansas Tech University to a 3-0 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State on Friday in Alva, Okla.

Tabitha Spray hit .500 with 12 kills, and Hunter Eshnaur hit .391 with 12 kills for the Golden Suns (13-7, 6-2 GAC), who won 25-13, 25-19, 25-15.

Emily Acker had 38 assists and 8 digs, and Meredith Darnell added 11 digs.

Southern Nazarene downs SAU

Caitlin Murdock had 11 assists and Lexi Kruse added eight for Southern Arkansas University in a 25-21, 25-17, 25-22 loss to Southern Nazarene on Friday in Bethany, Okla.

Harding falls to Southwestern Oklahoma St.

Madison Poen led Harding University with 18 kills and tied a career-high with 21 digs in a 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Friday in Weatherford, Okla.

Zoe Hardin had 13 kills and 4 blocks, and Emma Reeves had 12 kills for the Lady Bisons (12-7, 7-1 GAC).

Nailling leads Williams Baptist in loss

Audra Nailling had 22 kills and 14 digs for Williams Baptist University in a 25-19, 16-25, 25-22, 26-24 loss to Hannibal-LaGrange University on Friday in Walnut Ridge.

Shelby Henson added 18 digs and Molly Mingo 27 assists for the Lady Eagles (3-18, 2-5 AMC).

Hobson, Ratliff power Lyon College

Maggee Hobson tied her single match season-high of 10 kills, and Gracen Ratliff added 9 for Lyon College in a 25-11, 25-18, 25-21 victory over Central Baptist College on Friday in Batesville.

Kaitlyn Jackson recorded a team-high 14 assists and Michayla Shanks added a game-high 12 digs for the Scots (14-8).

WOMEN'S SOCCER

Williams Baptist falls to Park

Maria Lopes scored the first goal of her career to help Williams Baptist University avoid a shutout by Park University in a 6-1 loss in Parkville, Mo.

Lopes' strike came 5 minutes into the second half after the Lady Eagles (0-9-1, 0-6 AMC) had fallen behind 6-0. Her goal was unassisted and came from outside the box.

MEN'S SOCCER

Northeastern State edges Harding

Joe Garcia scored in the 17th minute to give Northeastern State a 1-0 victory over Harding University on Friday in Searcy.

Harding (6-4-1) managed 13 shots against the nationally ranked squad. Junior Christian Ramos had five of Harding's shots and both shots on goal.
