Centers for Youth and Families’ fundraiser honors VIPs, Champions

Oh the Places You'll Go was the Dr. Seuss-inspired theme of Evolve on April 6 at the Statehouse Convention Center. The event was a fundraiser for Centers for Youth and Families.

Guests were greeted by volunteers in the atrium wearing tall Cat in the Hat-style hats. A wall of colorful balloons stretched from the atrium to the lobby of the Wally Allen ballroom along the escalators. The evening began with a reception and silent auction.

During the program KTHV anchor Dawn Scott was honored as a Hero of Hope and Dr. Chad Rogers spoke about The Centers' mission. The Therapeutic Foster Care Program was highlighted along with Jenia and Arzo Johnson and Rick and Carolyn Huffman, who serve as foster parents.
