Farm Bureau women's group honored

The Arkansas Farm Bureau's Women's Leadership Committee of Benton County is the outstanding county women's program award winner. The group was recognized Dec. 5 during the bureau's 85th annual conference.

The Women's Leadership Committee supports its county organization, activities and goals through working with schools to educate children about agriculture.

Springdale physical therapy clinic open

SERC Physical Therapy recently opened an outpatient clinic at 101 E. Emma Ave. in Springdale. The clinic is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Orthopedic physical therapy, including pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation and injury prevention are offered at the facility.

Clinic director Josh Linton earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Linton is certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist and in dry needling.

SERC is part of the Upstream Rehabilitation family of clinical care. SERC offers access to care within 24 to 48 hours and works with all insurance types.

LR owners add Fort Smith cannabis site

AR Cannabis Clinic announced the opening of a clinic at 7612 Rogers Ave., Suite B, in Fort Smith. Little Rock physician Dr. David Nguyen and his wife, Hannah, founded AR Cannabis Clinic in February. The clinic has four full-time licensed physicians on staff and currently has six clinics in the state.

Clinic joins Washington Regional system

Main Street Medical Clinic, 707 N. Main St. in Harrison, joined Washington Regional Medical System on Dec. 1. Dr. Charles Klepper and his staff will continue to treat patients at the Harrison clinic, which is now called Washington Regional Primary Care -- Main Street.

Klepper earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed a residency at University Hospital, University of Missouri. He is board certified in internal and geriatric medicine.
