Two people were sent to the hospital after a drive-by shooting at a Little Rock nightclub early Friday, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched shortly before 2:45 a.m. to a reported shooting at Club 428 at 4726 Asher Ave. The officers responded after two ShotSpotter activations. The owner of the club told police that several people had fired at the club while driving up Madison Street.
A 35-year-old man was shot through the left ankle, according to a police report. A 19-year-old man was shot in the thigh and left lower leg, the report states. Three vehicles and a business also were hit by gunfire, but no one was inside any of them.
A witness told police that he saw an dark car driving up Madison Street with a person hanging out the window shooting.
Officers said they didn't find any shell casings, even though the ShotSpotter gunfire-detection system and several witness accounts reported nearly 30 rounds were fired.
Officers hear shots, find injured boy, 16
A Little Rock teenager was shot in the nose Thursday in southwest Little Rock, a police report said.
Officers on standby in the area of 37th and Malloy streets Thursday evening heard gunshots and headed toward them, the report said. A resident flagged the officers down and said he'd also heard the shots and had seen a black SUV head east on West 37th Street, the report said.
Officers found several different caliber shell casings and a puddle of fluid they believed to be from a vehicle on the street, and a 911 caller told dispatchers that a teenager had been shot, the report said.
Officers found the victim, a 16-year-old boy not identified in the report, near 3416 Ludwig St. with a bullet lodged in his "nasal cavity," the report said. Fire Department medics treated the injury until an ambulance took the boy to Arkansas Children's Hospital, the report said.
There were numerous bullet holes in the doors and grille of the Toyota Corolla in which the injured teen, a 17-year-old and a 27-year-old were traveling, investigators reported.
A house in the 3700 block of Malloy Street also was struck by a stray bullet from the shooting, the report said.
No arrests had been made as of Friday evening.

Ex-boyfriend held after new beau shot
An ex-boyfriend is accused of bursting into a Little Rock woman's apartment Thursday morning and exchanging gunfire with her current boyfriend before fleeing and being arrested, a police report said.
Little Rock police responded to a report of a shooting at 8:36 a.m. Thursday at Eagle Nest Apartments at 6 Torey Pines Court, where a Little Rock woman said her boyfriend had been shot after an intruder entered her bedroom with a revolver while they slept, the report said.
The intruder pointed the firearm at the woman's boyfriend, who pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and began firing, the woman told police.
Bullet holes were scattered around the apartment, including in the bedroom door, bathroom closet, mattress and outside wall, the report said.
The intruder shot the woman's boyfriend in his arm and ran away, the woman told police. She identified the attacker as Errick Davis, 19, an ex-boyfriend.
Less than four hours later, officers received a call from the front desk at the Eagle Nest Apartments informing them that Davis had called and asked to get a copy of his lease agreement, saying he'd be by later that day to pick it up.
Officers waited at the complex for Davis to arrive and arrested him when he did, the report said.
Davis was in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond facing charges of first-degree battery and tampering with evidence, the jail's roster said.
Wounded woman drives to hospital
A Little Rock woman drove herself to the hospital Thursday night after being shot in the leg during an exchange of gunfire near her home, a police report said.
Officers with the Little Rock Police Department said they responded to 2301 S. Ringo St. around 7:45 p.m. after learning a 60-year-old woman's home had been shot up. The woman told officers she was in her bedroom when she heard about 20 gunshots. Several bullet holes were found on the north side of the residence.
While officers were at the house, they were told that a 43-year-old woman had driven herself to UAMS Medical Center with a gunshot wound in her right leg. The wounded woman told police she was standing by her car outside a residence on South Ringo Street talking to two people when she was told that a purple Cadillac was heading in their direction and was going to start shooting. She said people began shooting from the vehicle toward the group. The woman said she fell, causing her concealed handgun and holster to fall on the ground.
A 44-year-old man with the injured woman said he picked up the gun and began shooting back at the Cadillac.
The 43-year-old said she didn't know she was shot until she was inside her vehicle. She said she drove herself to the hospital while the man she was with used his belt to wrap up her leg.
Officers said they collected shell casings at the scene.
