Garden Club

The Bentonville Garden Club will hold an end-of-year celebration beginning at 11:30 a.m. May 28 at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. There will be a picnic, short meeting and installation of new officers.

Art & Nature

Art & Nature is a new experiential activity series for cancer survivors and caregivers. The initial group event will be a low-impact guided hike from 9 a.m. to noon May 31 at Devil's Den State Park near West Fork. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.

Sojourners

Arkansas Post No. 551 Sojourners will meet at 6 p.m. June 3 at the Western Sizzlin in Springdale for supper, with a meeting following at 7 p.m. All master Masons who have served in the Armed Forces are invited.

Gardeners

The Benton County Master Gardeners are holding a garden party celebration from 3 to 7 p.m. June 4 at the Peel Mansion Museum in Bentonville to mark their 25th anniversary. Visit with current Master Gardeners, view displays and learn about the organization and its projects. There will be music and food.

Cancer Support

Hope Cancer Resources and Camp Kesem are hosting a Family Fun Day for adult cancer survivors and their children from 3 to 7 p.m. June 8 at a south Fayetteville farm. Activities will include crafts, fishing, hiking, yard games and more. Registration is required as there is limited space available. There is no cost to attend.

Toastmasters

The Northwest Arkansas ToastLeaders Toastmasters meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of every month at the Workman's Travel Center on West Monroe Avenue in Lowell.

Adante Music

Andante Music Club of Bella Vista invites the public to "A Taste of the Opera" program at 1 p.m. June 4 at Highland Christian Church, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista. Cast members of Opera in the Ozarks will present arias from the 2019 season. The season, titled "Changes of Heart," will be Mozart's The Abduction from the Seraglio; Puccini's La Boheme and Adamo's Little Women. A reception will follow the program. The event is free, and everyone is welcome.

Roundtable

The Bella Vista Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. June 6 at the Bella Vista Historical Museum.

The guest speaker will be Kerry Jones, a park guide and interpreter at Pea Ridge National Military Park. He will be speaking about John Bannon, a Catholic priest from St. Louis who served as a Confederate chaplain at the Battle of Pea Ridge. Bannon led a colorful, if not controversial, life.

The meeting is open to the public.

Radio Club

The Little Switzerland Amateur Radio Club will meet at noon June 8 at Pizza Hut in Eureka Springs. The club meets the second Saturday each month, and anyone interested in ham radio is welcome.

Christian Women

The Bella Vista Christian Women's Connection will meet at 9 a.m. June 11 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd. in Bella Vista. The public is invited. The featured speaker is Amy Koogler, an interior designer. The guest speaker is Gayla Hicks, whose presentation is titled "The Path to Perfect."

This brunch is held on the second Tuesday of every month, and an all-American breakfast is served for $10. The program is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries.

Ostomates

The Northwest Arkansas Ostomy Support Group will meet for an informational and educational meeting from 1 to 2 p.m. June 16 at Hope Cancer Resources, 5835 W. Sunset Blvd. in Springdale. This month, there will be a summer potluck. There will be an ostomate to demonstrate how to use the osto ez product.
