The Junior League of Little Rock really knows how to make holiday shopping an event. They've been doing it for 29 years with Holiday House. This year, the shopping extravaganza -- held at the Statehouse Convention Center -- kicked off Nov. 6 with a preview party named "'Twas the Night Before."
Guests at the first party of the four-day event enjoyed music, several large buffets of appetizers and, of course, the first chance to buy from more than 165 merchants from across the country. There was also a silent auction and raffle.
Since the beginning of Holiday House, league members have raised more than $5 million for local community projects. Event chairwomen for Holiday House were Lauren Hardy and Keri Richmond.
