Pearson-Van Valkenburg
Madalyn Leigh Van Valkenburg and Luke Scott Pearson were united in marriage Oct. 12 in Saint Mark's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Teri Daily officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Gwynn and Derrick Van Valkenburg of Little Rock and the granddaughter of Eva Yates of Hot Springs; the late Phil Yates of Pensacola, Fla.; Durward Van Valkenburg of Paragould and the late Donna Van Valkenburg.
Parents of the groom are Denise and Russell Pearson of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Thelma Larkin and the late Eugene Larkin, both of Middlesbrough, England, and the late Mary and Lindsey Pearson, of Mufulira, Zambia.
Honor attendants were Sera Snow, Holly Williamson, Katherine Kupar, James Waugh, Grover Brown III and Ryan Lehman.
After the ceremony, a reception was held in the church's Parish Hall.
The bride graduated with honors from the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in biology. She is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a doctor of pharmacy and served a residency at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. She is a pharmacist.
The groom is also a UCA graduate with a bachelor's degree in environmental science and a master's degree in biology. He is a doctoral student working toward a degree in herpetology studying alligator snapping turtles at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Miss.
After a honeymoon in Ambergris Caye, Belize, the couple will reside in Hattiesburg.
Williams-Benson
Wedding vows were exchanged by Cade Terrence Williams and Starla Ladawn Benson on Oct. 19 at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, Sherwood.
Parents of the bride are Sherry and Guy Qualls of Jonesboro. The groom is the son of Janis and Terry Williams of North Little Rock.
The couple will make their home in Little Rock.
Cassin-Cash
Josephine Lee Cash and Nicholas Collinge Cassin exchanged marriage vows Oct. 26 at Grace Church, New York.
Parents of the bride are Noemi and Clarence Cash of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Mateo and Remedios Capistrano of Manila, Philippines, and the late Fanny and Clarence Cash of Batesville. The groom is the son of Elizabeth Collinge of Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, and John Cassin of London. He is the grandson of Kathleen and the late Raymond Collinge of Preston, England, and the late Anne and William Cassin of Larchmont, N.Y.
Honor attendants were Vanessa Adams, Elisa Igyarto and Andrew Cassin.
She graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a bachelor's degree in nursing, and has a master's degree in nurse anesthesiology from Arkansas State University. She is a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Mount Sinai in New York.
The groom graduated with a bachelor of law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a partner at Kirkland and Ellis in New York.
After a wedding trip to Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, the couple will live in New York.
