Ringenberg began his career as the leader of Jason & The Nashville Scorchers, who later became Jason & the Scorchers; he also performs as Farmer Jason, doing children's music. Ringenberg has won acclaim for his versions of Bob Dylan songs "Absolutely Sweet Marie" and "Farewell Angelina."
His latest album, Stand Tall, released in 2019, was written while he was artist-in-residence at Sequoia National Park in California.

• "Patsy Cline Pays Tribute," starring Sarah Haman, will be presented at The Legendary Vapors in Hot Springs at 7 p.m. Friday. Admission is $30 or $35 for VIP.
Backed by a live band, Haman will perform Cline's songs and will also feature music by Judy Garland, Loretta Lynn and Dottie West.
