Engagements

Rachel Hildebrand and Matthew Kane have made plans to marry April 25 in Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.

She is the daughter of Amy and Mark Westmoreland and Deanna and Jeff Hildebrand, all of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Linda and Raymond Hildebrand of Stuttgart and the late Rosemary and Billy Massey. She has bachelor's degrees in English and Latin from Tulane University and a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. She is a lawyer.

He is the son of Lisa and Steve Greenhaw and Rebecca and Tom Kane, all of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Helen and the late Rocky Yelenich of Little Rock and the late Josephine and Max Kane. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a bachelor's degree in finance and has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. He is an entrepreneur.

Katherine Quinn Emery and Nelson Barnett Heringer are engaged to marry May 23 at Highland House in Batesville.

She is the daughter of Jennifer and Dr. Robert Emery of Batesville and the granddaughter of Sharon and Phillip Daugherty of Benton and the late Mary Ann and Robert Emery. She graduated from Hendrix College with a bachelor's degree in biology and plans to graduate in the spring with a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

He is the son of Carol and Elmer Heringer of Little Rock and the grandson of Sandra and Nelson Barnett of Batesville and the late Brenda and Carl Heringer. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a bachelor's degree in biological engineering and plans to graduate in the spring with a master's degree in environmental engineering from North Carolina State University.
