Starbucks planned for Lowell
Haag Brown recently announced construction of a Starbucks at the intersection of South Bloomington Street and East Monroe Avenue in Lowell. For this project, Starbucks will be implementing its new drive-through only concept that features a walk-up window and outdoor seating.
Insurance firm wins award
G&G Independent Insurance has been named the best agency to work for in the south central region by Insurance Journal. G&G was nominated by customer service representatives, producers, managers and other agency personnel. The independent insurance agency has locations in Bentonville, Fayetteville and Little Rock.
Insurance Journal’s best agencies to work for identifies the best retail property/casualty independent insurance agencies in the United States. To be eligible, a minimum number of agency employees, depending on the agency’s size, must nominate the agency.
J.B. Hunt earns awards
J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. recently announced its subsidiary, J.B. Hunt Transport Inc., has received the SmartWay Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
J.B. Hunt was also named a 2020 SmartWay High Performer: Multimodal Carrier by the agency for maximizing mode efficiency while transporting freight, reducing cost and environmental impact.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services also earned the No. 7 spot on FreightWaves’ 2021 FreightTech Awards list. An external panel of experts ranked their top 25 companies on a 1-to-25-point basis, and those earning the highest points comprise the FreightTech 25.
RichContext acquired by The Stable
RichContext, a retail technology company based in Rogers, has been acquired by The Stable, a commerce agency with offices in Minneapolis, Bentonville, Seattle and Austin, Texas. Both agencies will begin integration immediately. RichContext’s 30 employees will be folded into The Stable and operate under that agency’s brand by early 2021.
