Shelby Brown

Shelby Brown, 71, died Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Searcy. Born in White County, September 2, 1938 a son of the late James and Alberta Skaggs Brown. Shelby was a carpenter and a member of the Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors: wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Brown; son, Richard Brown; sister, Ruella Curtis and two grandchildren. Visitation: Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, Powell Funeral Home Chapel, Bald Knob. Interment: Bethlehem Cemetery near Plainview.
