William Elton "Happy" Robertson, 80, of Grady died Tuesday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born July 7, 1930 at Petit Jean Mountain in Conway County to the late Earl and Edna Seiver Robertson. He was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Grady, where he was a deacon and also served as treasurer. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and a former board member of Delta Farmers' Association. He was a quiet man that loved God, and his main interest was his family and his church. Also preceding him in death was a brother, Clinton Dale Robertson. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sue Dancer Robertson of Grady; son, Kenneth Earl Robertson and wife Ellen of Grady; grandson, Brad Robertson and wife Beverly of Star City; two great-grandsons, Logan and Hayden Robertson of Star City; and first cousin, Arthur Robertson of Morrilton. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Friday at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. Bro. Raymond Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Grady Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Abbott, Orville Reed, Logan Robertson, Brad Robertson, Don Barnett, Jack Jackson, John Curtis Jackson.
